Director: Danny Boyle (2002)
Running Time: 113 mins
Blurb: Waking in a world that he thinks is empty, a bicycle courier is terrified to find he isn’t alone.
Zio’s Random Thoughts: Yay! I’m going to repeat that again for effect. Yay! I love 28 Days, kids! It ticks all my boxes - zombies, low-budget, ridiculous product placement. (I have oddly specific boxes.)
I particularly love the Day of the Triffids-style opening. More films should open with people waking up and finding everyone gone. I know a lot do, but there should be more.
Plus! It has Chris Eccleston in! My favourite cool-as-an-actor-but-probably-not-as-much-fun-to-know-in-real-life person!
So, just to reiterate: Yay! I wish I’d kept this for day 28, though.
